What we store
Your email, authentication information, report count, saved report data, optional branding, and subscription identifiers and status. A CSV is parsed in your browser. The original file is not uploaded; the resulting report contains column names, calculated metrics and charts, your text, and up to the first 50 source rows. These report contents are saved to your account when you create or import a report. Choose data you have permission to use and remove sensitive information first.
What we use it for
To sign you in, show and save reports, enforce the free allowance, provide sharing, process subscriptions, and respond to account requests. We do not send your CSV or report contents to an AI service. Summaries are generated by rules in your browser.
Service providers
When configured, Supabase provides authentication and cloud database storage. Lemon Squeezy hosts checkout and manages payments and billing records. SheetStory does not receive your full payment card number. Your data location depends on the region selected for the database and hosting services. Hosting providers may process ordinary request and security logs.
Sharing and copies
Reports in your account are private until you create a public link. Anyone with that link can view all metrics, your report text, and the included source rows without signing in. Cloud links capture a snapshot; later edits do not change it. Revoke all links from the report’s Share dialog, or delete the report. Downloaded or copied content cannot be recalled. Older links beginning with /share#v1 include their own copy and cannot be revoked.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential authentication cookies for sign-in. Reports created in the earlier browser-only version remain in local storage until you remove them. They are not automatically imported. This version does not add advertising or analytics trackers. The payment provider’s checkout has its own privacy notice.
Retention and deletion
Cloud reports remain until you delete them or your account. Deleting a report removes its active cloud share links, while its creation still counts toward the free allowance. Delete reports in your workspace. To remove your account, open Account → Delete account and cloud data, enter your password and type DELETE. Renewal is cancelled before deletion; if cancellation fails, your account is kept so you can retry. Backups and provider records may remain subject to the providers’ retention policies. Billing event identifiers and subscription records may be kept without the deleted account association to prevent duplicate processing and reconcile payments.
Your requests
You can view, edit, export PDFs, delete reports, and delete your account from the product. Browser copies are separate: remove them in Reports or clear this site’s browser data. For other access or privacy requests, use the operator contact above once configured.
